The film is set in the early 1970s, during the Bangladesh Liberation War. The Indian Navy, led by Captain Krishna Verma (played by Rana Daggubati), receives intelligence that the Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi has been deployed to intercept and destroy Indian warships. The Indian Navy devises a plan to sink the Ghazi, and a team of sailors, led by Lieutenant Rishi Nanda (played by Kay Kay Menon), is tasked with executing the mission.
