Version 4.8 debuts a "Smart Scan." During installation, the wizard scans your Program Files, Steam library (if configured), and browser bookmarks. It then suggests "Mega Menus"—pre-built folders for "Design," "Dev Tools," and "Office."

Solution: Run SmartLaunch 4.8 as Administrator . Right-click the shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > "Run this program as an administrator." Full-screen games (DX12/Vulkan) block overlay hooks by default; admin rights bypass this. Version 4
