Note: ElAmigos updates repacks frequently. Always check the included Readme.txt in the game folder. If you don’t want to manually browse hidden folders, use this foolproof method: Step 1: Run the game and save manually. Create a distinct, new save. Name it something unique like "ZZZ_TEST_SAVE". Step 2: Close the game. ElAmigos repacks often write save files only on game exit or checkpoint. Step 3: Use Windows Search with a timestamp filter. Open File Explorer → This PC → In the search bar, type: datecreated:today *.sav Or for more flexibility: *.sav OR *.save OR *.dat OR *.savemanager Sort by “Date modified” (most recent first). Your ElAmigos save will be at the top. Step 4: Check the folder path. Right-click the found file → “Open file location”. That’s the exact save directory for that repack. What If There Are No .sav Files? Understanding ElAmigos "Steam Emulator" Saves Many ElAmigos repacks include a Steam emulator (like CODEX, RUNE, or FLT). These emulators sometimes store saves in nested, numbered folders mimicking Steam's userdata structure.
